Becoming a Champion takes a lot more than just learning poker techniques. It takes the courage to learn about and develop oneself.
My story
My journey from a small town in Michigan to Hollywood and eventually to the poker scene has been a bit of a rollercoaster. From acting gigs to finding my true calling in poker, every twist and turn shaped me into the player I am today.
In 1995, at the age of 33, I found myself at a crossroads in my life. Tired of the monotony of waiting tables and still harboring dreams of the silver screen, a friend suggested a different path – becoming a poker dealer. Little did I know that this decision would shape my destiny in ways I couldn't have imagined.
During the process of learning the intricacies of dealing, I found myself seated at a Texas Hold'em table at Hollywood Park Casino. That moment marked the beginning of a journey that would lead me into the heart of the poker world. A few months later, I was hired as a dealer at Hollywood Park, immersing myself in the vibrant poker scene.
In the midst of dealing at the tables, I became a regular at the low-limit Texas Hold'em tables. By 1997, I had graduated to the $20/$40 limits and ventured into $20 buy-in tournaments. That pivotal year saw the emergence of aspirations to become a professional poker player. Since then, I've notched up hundreds of wins and cashes, each adding to my bankroll and poker notoriety.
Whether you're just starting out or aiming for that big win, I've got the experience to guide you through strategies, tactics, and the mental game of poker. I've racked up over $4 million in tournament winnings, and I'm ready to spill all my poker secrets to help you become a force at the tables.
I've been at final tables in Australia, Monte Carlo, and Amersterdam.
I've been a commentator for many poker broadcasts including WPT and ESPN.
My Elvis impersonation has only been perfected by my years in Vegas!
You can often spot my dog Tank visiting me at the poker tables and bringing me luck.
Take the first step towards transforming your poker prowess and unlocking your true potential.
