To Gamble or Not to Gamble…that is the question!
In almost every hand or session that’s lost, you can spot a mistake. Some are more difficult than others depending on your level of awareness and understanding of the principles of the game.
This one is pretty easy I think. But I thought I would post it anyway as an example. I guess I should clarify what I mean by a mistake. A mistake to me means missing the mark. A misstep in fundamental principles of game play. I don’t consider unknown situations that involve close judgments a mistake, but rather a choice that didn’t work out.
One could always justify or rationalize a mistake I suppose. But as my mentor reminded me with this great quote; “Don’t let your excuses or your rationalizations become the hallmark of your failure.” – Fast Eddie.
